Physical Evidence
Government Exhibit 502A
The court admitted the drives without objection during Kiernan's testimony on Day 6, and Beeson testified that he imaged both drives in full. In rebuttal closing argument on Day 11, Howard described one drive found on the defendant's bedside table as containing a September 23, 2013 backup of Silk Road website files and other documents also found on the laptop.

- Two thumb drives recovered from the defendant's residence, with capacities of 4 and 16 gigabytes
- Thumb drives, including the drive Howard identified as recovered from the defendant's bedside table
About
Howard argued that the thumb-drive backup, together with a more recently updated laptop log, contradicted the defense claim that the files had been planted at the last minute.
